INTER ASTRA / INTER ALTERA

INTER ASTRA / INTER ALTERA looks at how the principles of revolution of celestial masses can be negotiated and placed through movement. The recent detection of gravitational waves generated by the loss of mass of two black holes during their process of attraction and collision, is at the center of the choreographic concerns related to the occupation and definition of space.

In collaboration with composers Anandi Sala Casanova and Michael Worboys and astrophysics researcher Dr. Priscilla Corsi, this work immerses the audience in an experimental setting and looks at the concentric variation of activity and sound.

Premiered in 2016 at Laban Theatre, Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance, London.
